Postural Restoration
Postural restoration looks at how breathing, rib position, and hip alignment affect movement. Gentle drills retrain patterns that contribute to pain and stiffness.
What this treatment helps with
- Better breathing mechanics
- Reduced side to side asymmetry
- Less neck and back strain
- Improved athletic movement

Runner, 37 Right hip pain and uneven stride 11 weeks
Assessment showed left hip weakness and a shorter stride on the right. Postural restoration drills focused on left hip grounding, diaphragmatic breathing, and progressive single leg loading before reintroducing running volume.
Video gait analysis at week eight showed a more even stride length side to side. Right hip pain resolved as he built weekly mileage slowly over eleven weeks. He continues a short breathing and hip drill routine before every run.
