Soccer player, 19 Hamstring tightness limiting sprint speed 14 weeks
Video analysis showed reduced hip extension and hamstring tightness during sprinting. We used Nordic hamstring progressions, hip flexor mobility, and sprint drill progressions from submaximal runs to full pace over fourteen weeks.
His 20 meter sprint time improved by 0.15 seconds and he played a full season without hamstring setbacks. He continues Nordic curls twice weekly in preseason. Coaching staff noted cleaner acceleration form in late season games.
